There are bedside electric lights for convenience, but otherwise lighting in the camp after dark is provided by lanterns and oil lamps to enhance the fairy tale atmosphere.
“We do not have man made structures for children. Only trees and a small stream”.
Each tent has a wooden deck with an awning and chairs for sitting outside.
Presently there are seven tents sleeping two persons each and two family tents that can sleep four.
For something different, a few hammocks are slung between trees around the camp. You can’t beat a good read while lounging around in a hammock!
Being in the heart of the forest does not mean one has to forgo the basic comforts. There are hot showers and flush toilets in the ablution facilities and the family tents have their own private facilities.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the lapa area. Light lunches are also available on request.
Relax around the camp fire and socialise with your neighbors – you never know where they may have come from.
The “bosberaad” tent can accommodate a meeting of up to 25 persons.
